Padel Update

Dear Padel Club Member, 28th May 2025

Thank you for signing up to be a padel member at Elm Park. We are delighted to tell you our Padel membership is now in excess of 600 adult members and 100 Junior members so we can expect a busy and vibrant club.

The courts are due to be completed by mid-June and as soon as we have a confirmed date, we will let you know and arrange an official ‘Opening Ceremony’ to mark this fantastic new addition to Elm Park.

For now, we are inviting you to join the Elm Park WhatsApp community, where you will see all the latest padel announcements from Admin. There will also be several individual WhatsApp groups you can join too to ensure that you get to organise games, join organised play sessions and tournaments etc. Click on the link below to get involved with your new club.

We will be reviewing everything on a monthly basis for the first few months to ensure that we get the best use of the courts for everyone. To cope with the larger than expected membership we have made some changes to the Court Booking Rules. Members will now only be able to book 1 hour (instead of 1.5 hours) court bookings to facilitate more members. The latest booking Rules can be seen at www.elmpark.ie/padel .

Please note you can book a court using one name only but all four names must be present at start of play or the MyCourts system will assume you have three guests and automatically charge your account x 3 guest fees. This is non refundable even if it turns out the other players were members, consider it as a fine. Members should also check their MyCourts Account and ensure that they have put an acceptance date into the “Booking Sheet Consent” box or your name cannot be selected as an opponent. You are also requested to add a contact phone number which has not been automatically added for new accounts in MyCourts.

We would welcome any feedback and if you have any questions, please either use the WhatsApp chat group above, e mail padel@elmpark.ie or phone our Padel Admin phone number 087 2904472 (Frank Dennehy )

Yours Sincerely

Frank Dennehy
