Dear Member,
We hope everyone has enjoyed their first day of tennis in the sunshine. It is great to see the courts busy with lots of social tennis been played.
The Tennis Committee is conscious for the need to allow maximum access to our courts, especially our all weather courts, for the members to play. To this end the Committee decided that Junior Coaching should no longer take place on Courts 1,2 and 3. Instead Junior Coaching has been moved to the Clay courts 6 & 7 and Grass courts 8 & 9 for Term 3. This will allow our members to have full access to the Hard courts.
To facilitate this move we have agreed that for this term the children can continue to wear their school tracksuit or suitable tennis clothing that they usually wear for their tennis lessons whether they are allocated to the Clay or Grass courts for coaching. They are encouraged to adhere to the whites only policy but in the particular circumstances it will not be compulsory.
