Summer has arrived with plenty of tennis opportunities for juniors in Elm Park.
The list of activities are in the link below. Registration links for events where required will be sent out shortly if not already listed.
We hope that the juniors will avail of the many tennis opportunities in Elm Park over the Summer months.
Playing matches is hugely important in a juniors tennis development. They learn to problem solve, improve their tactics and also have lots of fun. By participating in the activities Elm Park has to offer and playing with family and friends the standard of the Elm Park juniors will enhance even further!
In September, Elm Park will be hosting their first U12 Leinster Tennis Tour 100 on Saturday 10th September for girls and Saturday 17th September for boys in the afternoons on the Grasscourts.
The Leinster Tennis Tour 100 is a points system where juniors who have a Tennis Ireland ranking of 100 points or less can enter that specific tournament.
In addition to this we will also be entering teams in the following leagues
** U12 Stars & Stripes
** U14 Junior Leagues
** U17 Junior Leagues
In preparations for the upcoming U12 Tour 100 and the Junior Leagues, Rob and Victoria will be holding training sessions over the Summer months.
The hitters list is also a great way for the juniors to get more match practice hitting with the hitters of adult class 1-3 league standard. The Summer Round Robins will start the beginning of July and will run till the end of August.
Leinster Tennis are running the Tennis 10s, Tour 100 -1000s etc over the summer months. There are tournaments for all levels of players and are an excellent way to get regular match practice throughout the summer against players from various clubs.
