Tennis Ireland have issued the following note to all member clubs
Last week the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Tennis Europe both issued releases condemning Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the supporting role played by Belarus.
Tennis Ireland fully supports the actions and position taken by the ITF and TE and offers our unconditional support to the Ukraine Tennis Federation and to the people of Ukraine.

How can you support people in Ukraine?
Sport Ireland has engaged with the Department of Foreign Affairs and has provided a link below to Irish organisations responding to the humanitarian needs in Ukraine.

These links are to support and inform your engagement with volunteers who are interested in supporting the people of Ukraine at this time.

It may well be that you as an Elm Park tennis player wish to help these displaced people, many just like ourselves, who have had to flee violence, and you were unsure how to make a contribution. Myself and Caroline offer this email as a viable opportunity to help those in immediate need.
