Senior Grasscourt Championships 2022

Dear Member,

Reminder : The Senior Grasscourt Championships sponsored by Sandymount Hotel will run from Saturday 2nd July with Finals on Sunday 24th July. Closing date for entries is Saturday 25th June

The Senior Grasscourt Championships Events this year is as follows:

Singles Championships Event

· Men’s Championship Singles Event: Winter / Summer League Class 2, 3, 4 squads and those who have subbed up twice or more (2022)

· Ladies Championship Singles Event: Winter / Summer League Class 3 & 5 and those who have subbed up twice or more (2022), & Charity League 4/5 (2022)

· Men’s Under 21 Singles: Born 2001 or Later

· Ladies Under 21 Singles: Born 2001or Later

Doubles Championships Event

· Men’s Championship Doubles: Winter / Summer League Class 2, 3, 4 squads and those who have subbed up twice or more (2022)

· Ladies Championship Doubles: Winter / Summer League Class 3 & 5 squads and those who have subbed up twice or more (2022), & Charity League 4/5 (2022)

You may nominate your own partner for the doubles events OR we can allocate you a partner (if available)

Graded Events

Men’s Graded Singles: Winter / Summer League Class 6, 7(2022), Non-League OR over 50 ( Born before 2nd July 1972)

· Ladies Graded Singles: Winter / Summer League 7, Charity League Class 6, 7 (2022) & Non League

· Men’s Graded Doubles: Winter / Summer League Class 6, 7(2022), Non league OR Over 50 (Born before 2nd July 1972)

· Ladies Graded Doubles: Winter / Summer League 7, Charity League Class 6, 7 (2022) & Non league

Mixed Doubles Championships

· Mixed Championship All Classes & Non League

You may nominate your own partner for the doubles and Mixed doubles events OR we can allocate you a partner (if available)

Entry Fee

€10 for 1 Event

€15 for 2 Events

€20 for 3 Events

Members are eligible to play in 3 events .

1 Singles
1 Doubles
1 Mixed Doubles

Please Note: Events will only go ahead if there are 4 or more entries.

All matches must be played by the dates specified for each round in the Tournament Software.

The Grasscourt Championships are open to Junior Members aged 14 on or before 31st December 2021.

Please submit your entry below and put entry fee in an envelope with your name in the tennis box in the Inner hallway of the Club House. (At Tennis Notice Board) by 25th June.
