Dear Parent / Guardian
We will be electing our new tennis Junior Captains for 2023 in December. We would like to invite junior / student members who were born before, or in, 2006 to send in a letter of interest if they would like to be considered for Junior Tennis Captain and or Junior Committee.
This is an esteemed role, whereby a boy and girl are elected to be Junior Tennis Captains for the year. Their overall responsibility is to coordinate and manage the tennis activities that they and their committee will run throughout the year with support from the Junior Parent Tennis Committee.
Below is a list of activities that the Junior Captains and their committee are responsible for:
** Valentine’s Day Fun Tournament
** St Patrick Day Fun Tournament
** Easter Egg Fun Tournament
** Summer Fun Tournament/s
** Junior Captains Day and Dinner
** Halloween Fun Tournament
** Assist the Junior Parent Tennis Committee with Junior Parent & Child Tournament
** Assist with supervision of the Hardcourt and Grasscourt Championships
If your Son / Daughter would like to be considered for the role of Junior Tennis Captain and was born before or in 2006, we request that they send a letter expressing their interest by email to tennisadmin@elmpark.ie by 28th November for the attention of the Junior Liaison Officer Dave Whelan.
